Concrete Design of KC, Inc. is a locally owned family business. When you work with Concrete Design you can know & trust you are helping another family provide for their children's future. Ron & Vickie Pfannenstiel (Husband & Wife) decided to open their own Concrete Construction company back in 1997. After many years of working for other construction companies it was time to start building their own future. It was a leap of faith and it has been growing each year ever since. Ron & Vickie have three amazing children. Their sons are Taylor, Cole & their youngest Hunter.

Since 1997 when our doors opened our company has acquired a broad experience and a wide array of capabilities. Our projects for our clients range from the modest projects to the large projects that are over a million dollars. We work with Homeowners, Landlords, Businesses & builders of all kinds. Our field staff are each fully committed and well trained to ensure your complete satisfaction. Our background includes experience in super flat installation, large scale flatwork, hardener, sealers, as well as integral colored and stamped concrete.

Concrete Design of KC has been known as the top of the standard in residential and commercial flatwork. With our experienced crews we have set new innovations in concrete work; combing our highest standard of broom finish with a flair for the extreme to the simplest in ornamental stamping, antiquing, multi-color work.

"Concrete Design of KC is the best company I have ever had do concrete work for me. Over the past 50 years I have had 3 driveways replaced. This time I had the driveway widened, front porch and steps replaced, back patio and steps replaced, and a concrete pad removed. I was given ideas during the estimate to make everything look and work better. Before Concrete Design of KC started working the foreman went over everything with me and made sure that’s what I wanted done. During the work if the foreman saw something he didn’t like it was corrected right then. This crew worked as a team and you could tell they had done this for years. The cleanup was great – very important part of the job. Two days later they came back with the dirt I needed and made sure I was pleased with the backfill. This is a fantastic company to do business with, I simply cannot say enough on how wonderful this company is. "We had an additional driveway added, sidewalk around to the back of the house and extended our patio from a small slab in the middle of the back door off the house to encompass the entire back of our house. They came out and set it up, poured the concrete and were done in one day. Later the next day they came and removed the forms. They cleaned up everything and checked with me throughout the day with any questions they had to make sure they were making it to our specifications; including curves to match the curves in our existing patio for asthetics. We were very satisfied and happy with their work. We will definitely recommend and reuse them if we need more concrete."
